Video Editor

KUZA, a private sector social enterprise/BCorp, uses business as a force for good to drive systems change at scale in the food and agriculture sector with digital and youth at front and center. KUZA enrolls rural youth as members of its OneNetwork (a curated digital ecosystem platform), provides incubation services and graduates them  as Agripreneurs by equipping them with the knowledge, tools and a network to connect with service providers to earn sustainable livelihoods.

We are seeking a creative and talented Video Content Creator to join our team. As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging and high-quality video content for various platforms. From conceptualization to editing, you will play a crucial role in bringing life into the content through visual storytelling. You will create multimedia content focused on agronomy practices targeted at smallholder farmers, helping to empower and educate agricultural communities.

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting or online streaming. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in video editing software.


  1. Edit and assemble raw footage to create polished video content.
  2. Collaborate with teams to develop & execute concepts for video projects.
  3. Review scripts and raw material to determine the storyline/ video sequence 
  4. Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as necessary to enhance the visual storytelling.
  5. Create rough and final cuts of videos for review and approval.
  6. Manage and maintain a digital library of video assets for future use.
  7. Contribute to brainstorming sessions & provide creative input in video projects.


  1. Demonstrable video editing skills with a strong portfolio.
  2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Good time management and organizational skills & Strong attention to detail
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Certification and/or Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field
